My story

This handsome boy here is Blue. He is about 95 pounds and the biggest lover you will meet. Blue is a super social extrovert of a dog! He loves walks and will attempt to play with any dog that will play with a big boy like him! He loves people and kids including toddlers. He is a total cuddle bug and loves to be a part of the action. He has Valley fever which he takes Fluconazole for and it has affected his back left knee but as long as he has his medication then he is full of energy and pain free. I know you're wondering if he is such an amazing dog, why are you trying to find him a new home? If food is thrown on the floor, then he can get food aggressive. He needs all food, including treats and snacks, to be fed to him in a separate room away from other pets and children as he is prone to resource guarding. Previous owner has a toddler and couldn't guarantee to keep all the snacks off the floor. They want to find Blue a furever home that will love him as much as they do but can provide an environment that is more conducive for him to live a long and happy life. Blue is such an amazing dog! He is great with kids, good with cats, likes other dogs as long as there is no food involved. Blue will come with a 3-month supply of his meds for whomever adopts this sweet pup. If you think Blue might be a good fit for your family, please contact the rescue!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Blue, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
