My story

Meet Julien! We first met this sweet boy as a young pup on death row in Wichita, sentenced to die for no other reason than being timid and scared. He was just becoming more and more scared in their shelter environment so he was given a euthanasia date. Julien is a smaller boy who and loves all dogs - he really thrives when around other dogs. He is usually scared of new people, but for anyone who takes the time to meet him he will become the silliest, snuggliest companion. A few visits and treats are an easy way to win him over, especially if you sit down and play with the other dogs - then he will run up for a quick pet or kiss. Julien just needs a home with few visitors or a family willing to put him up if visitors come to avoid giving him anxiety or stress. He is just a scared little boy but has been a staff favorite for many many years.
