My story

At Pets Alive, every dog surrender is a chance to discover and understand their unique needs, and help them find a home environment that will better suit them for a happier life. Pebbles is one of our longer term senior dogs, and has become a favorite among our staff. She has had a challenging past, which has made her cautious around new faces. Earning her trust takes time—she will need at least a couple of visits before she feels comfortable—but the reward is immeasurable. Once Pebbles lets you into her world, you’ll become her certified best friend for life! She’s an extremely loving little lady, and despite her old age, she still has quite the energy—especially when it involves treats, a walk, or a romp around the yard with her chosen people. Pebbles would thrive in a home with a single adult and no children. She needs a patient owner who understands her protective nature and is committed to helping her feel safe and secure. We’d love to see her live out her golden years with someone who can see the same potential our staff sees in her every day.
