My story

Meet Glen, a remarkable 6 year and 9 month old, mixed breed weighing 27 pounds, with a heart as big as Texas. Glen's journey brought him to Camo Rescue's Houston facility in 2021, where he has been a beloved resident ever since. Glen is a dog full of love and energy, always ready for an adventure outdoors. His favorite activities include running around outdoors, splashing in water, and exploring every nook and cranny of his surroundings. He's potty trained and does good with leash walking. While Glen is a loving dog once he warms up to you. He comes with some challenges that require experienced handling. Glen is very kennel aggressive and doesn't appreciate correction. He struggles most during meal times as he resource guards his food. Glen's forever family would need to be understanding and capable of ensuring meal times are as safe and comfortable as possible for everyone involved. Despite these behaviors, Glen is deeply affectionate and fiercely loyal to those he trusts. For Glen to thrive, he would do best in an adult-only home where he can be the only dog, ensuring he receives the focused attention and structured environment he needs. His forever family must provide a secure and loving atmosphere, along with careful management of his behaviors. With patience, understanding, and the right environment, Glen promises to blossom into an extraordinary companion, enriching the lives of his adoptive family with his unwavering devotion and adventurous spirit. ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs. EIN # 46-5486022
