My story

Meet Tamara, a delightful 6-year-old, 36-pound mixed-breed sweetheart who’s ready to find her forever home! She’s the perfect balance of energy and maturity—up for walks and playtime, but also a certified nap queen who loves nothing more than curling up indoors with her favorite chew and her favorite people. Her gentle, loving nature will capture your heart from the very first meeting, and she’s sure to fill your days with warmth and affection. Tamara is crate trained, potty trained, and will happily let you know when she needs to go out. She’s a total love bug. She’s also incredibly smart and loves food—perfect for keeping her motivated during training sessions. Tamara flourishes in a one-pup home where she can be the center of attention and doesn’t have to share her high-value items. All of our dogs and puppies go home spayed or neutered, microchipped, and heartworm tested (for dogs 7 months and older). They are also up to date on core vaccines, as well as heartworm, flea, and tick preventatives. Each adoption includes a 3.5-pound bag of dog or puppy food and a free vet exam at one of our participating veterinary partners.
