My story

Midnight is a handsome, friendly blockhead who loves his human friends, his walks in the park, and most importantly- tasty treats! He’s returned to the shelter after being adopted in late 2023 and has gone right back to stealing hearts! Here’s what some of his volunteer friends have said about him:“Midnight was eager to go out when I walked him this week. He settled down after a few minutes and I sat on a bench with him. He enjoyed getting petted and performed a perfect `sit` and `watch me` for treats. He’s so handsome too!”“Today was my first time meeting Midnight. Wonderful sit, friendly, and easy to leash. A lovely dog who will do very well once he gets the time he needs to decompress from shelter life.”Midnight has also been a day trip favorite, taking field trips away from the shelter: “A+! Midnight went on a hike and got some play time today. He’s sociable, fun, leash- trained, mellow and laid back away from the shelter, and he loves toys. Midnight is adorabl- he’s a gentle and well-trained dog who adores cuddles and belly rubs, making everyone fall in love with him. He’s friendly to strangers and walks very well on the leash. I think he`d make the perfect family dog.”“Midnight is sweet and mellow. He likes to ride in the car, seems to be housebroken, loves toys, and is a couch potato.”“Midnight is sociable and fun. He likes to ride in a car, is leash trained, likes to be outdoors and go on hikes.
