My story

Adventure buddy wanted—apply within! Meet Hammy Hammy came to us at only 5 months—and has been growing up in rescue ever since.  We can agree with this puppy photo reinactment, as he's been with us so long  Hammy is currently loving life in his upstate NY foster home, but what he really wants is a forever home to call his own. He’s an outdoorsy, playful, and fun-loving pup who’s always up for a walk, hike, or just exploring the yard. He's great with kids (ages 5+), other dogs, and even cats! Fully vetted, neutered, housebroken, and crate-trained, Hammy is ready to pack his bags and head out on life’s next adventure—with you. Hammy is sweet, silly, and affectionate—everything you’d want in a loyal companion. All of our animals are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, de-wormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heart-worm tested, and treated if necessary.  Vet references and a home/family visit are required, and an adoption fee applies.  Transport options are available within our area of operation, including Pennsylvania, the tri-state area, and New England.  Please note we do not adopt animals into Canada.  Visit www.pmarinc.org for more information, and to fill out an applicationAll of our animals are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heartworm tested and treated if necessary.
