My story

Hi, I am Clover, Are you looking for a Lab? Well, it is your lucky day.I start out kind of shy but then I am your typical fun-loving lab who loves other dogs, (once I have a good introduction), people, and just being goofy. Like most labs, even though I am 2, I still act like a puppy most of the time. I will need someone who can teach me some manners because I like to jump up on people when I first meet them. And I am a big girl, so I need to be taught not to do that. I am working on it but it is just that I get so excited when I meet someone.I am still into chewing plastic, water bottles are my favorite, I love the crackle they make when I chew one. I live with a cat right now, but we don’t play, I am just curious what that smell is!I am working on relaxing when I go for car rides, I get pretty nervous in the car, but I don’t get sick or anything. I haven’t been to the beach yet, but I can imagine what it would be like to swim. I would be in Lab heaven.I am pretty good with basic commands like sit, come, shake a paw. I don’t usually pull on the leash during a walk, but I have to say that if it goes on too long…I will lie down and not budge. If you think you could be the family for me, fill out the application and we can meet over a Zoom call.Lots of love and sloppy kisses to give,CloverThis dog is currently in foster care in La Paz, Mexico, but will be transported upon adoption or foster placement. As a U.S. nonprofit, Hope 4 La Pawz, handles all logistics and provides full behavioral and medical info in advance.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Clover, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
