My story

Meet Lingling! Lingling is a loveable little momma. When she isn't running around the back yard she can be found snuggled up to her human on the couch. Lingling loves getting kisses and playing fetch. When she stares at you with those big brown eyes it will just melt your heart. Lingling is especially smart and intuitive. Human friendly, trained in basic commands and is a professional when it comes to walking on a leash. Lingling is also an exceptional insect catcher and mouser. Put all of this together and Lingling would do great with a family who lives an adventurous lifestyle that she can love...and protect from insects and mice! Lingling entered Memphis Animal Services as a stray with her mate, a full blooded black German Shepherd. Lingling was pregnant with 12 puppies and saved from the final plea list. After a difficult birth and c-section, sadly only 4 of the precious puppies survived. However, Lingling is the best mother to her babies. Good news! Dad also made it and was adopted out of the shelter. Lingling is a 2-year-old, 45 lb., Boston Terrier mix. She is heartworm negative, up to date on vaccines, spayed and microchipped. Lingling does require slow introductions to other dogs. She may become more comfortable with dogs now that she is not pregnant. Positivity training would be ideal to help her through this. Lingling would also do best with older children. Located in Memphis, TN, Lingling and her puppies are ready to find their forever homes.
