My story

Gypsy was found in a Tomball subdivision in June 2023. She had no collar or tags and no microchip. At first, she was scared of everyone but eventually would come for food & treats. One of the subdivision residents lured her into her house and has been fostering her under Emmy's Hope Rescue. Gypsy is a very sweet, friendly dog who obviously had a previous family. She was already house trained and sits on command. Her foster mom quickly crate-trained her. She adjusted well to her foster home. She has had 2 weeks professional training, working on good manners and following simple commands. Gypsy is always happy and full of energy. She’s not afraid of thunder or fireworks! Gypsy is a sweetheart and ready to find her forever home! She needs a loving family who is familiar with and accepting of an energetic and active pup.  Estimated birth date:  December 2022 Approximate weight:  40 lbs. If you would like to meet Gypsy , please call or text Stephanie at:  281-622- 6549. *** ADOPTION CRITERIA *** To qualify to adopt from Emmy's Hope Rescue, YOU MUST HAVE ALL 4 QUALIFIERS: 1. Live in the Houston area (no more than an hour's drive away). 2. Be 21 years or older. 3. Have a fenced yard. Fencing must touch the ground all the way around the yard. 4. We are looking for experienced pet owners. You must have at least 3 years of good vet history, with your current and / or past dogs. Your vet record should show that you take your dog(s) to the vet annually for an exam and to update their Rabies and DHPP (distemper, parvo) vaccinations and heartworm testing, and that you purchase a monthly heartworm preventative.  November 2, 2024, 10:51 pm

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Gypsy June, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
