My story

Her name was Lola, she was a show girl…well you know the rest! Lovely little Lola has captured the hearts of our staff and is currently taking a much needed break from the shelter in a foster home. This pint-sized princess is the definition of a velcro dog. Lola is down to do anything with you as long as it includes cuddling as close to you as she possibly can…and she will demand to be the little spoon when it’s bedtime. Despite being a senior, Lola still has the heart of a young pup. She loves to play and will spend all day outside with you if you let her!Lola is used to being left home alone for long hours and she doesn’t mind one bit! As long as you have a comfy couch for her to curl up on, bonus points if you turn on her favorite show, Greys Anatomy, she will be content all day. And she’s potty trained!Lola has had a rough history with dogs and was attacked when she was younger. This has left Lola a bit nervous about dogs from afar. She barks to look tough, but each time we’ve introduced her to dogs up close, she’s wagged her tail and mostly ignored them! Lola would likely need a slow intro to another dog, but it does seem possible for her to have a four legged friend!If you’re looking for a dog that will fill your life with endless cuddles and love, talk to us about meeting Lola!
