This 17-pound, peanut-colored Chihuahua mix was found wandering the streets of Modesto, but fate had brighter plans for him. He was rescued in May 2023 by the compassionate souls at Chihuahua Rescue. However, Peanut's past has left its mark. He's still learning to trust humans, as he hasn't yet had the chance to know those who are trustworthy. His journey includes ongoing rehabilitation to help him overcome his fears and anxieties, allowing him to embrace the love and care he deserves. Peanut may be cautious, but he's also cautiously optimistic. When he plays, he does so with a gentle heart, and while quick movements might frighten him, they won't deter his spirit. At the moment, Peanut is not available for adoption, but the day will come when he finds a forever home where he can truly flourish.
