My story

Hi - my name is Elma. My foster mom calls me Ellie. I'm 2 years old, 65 lbs, current on shots, spayed and microchipped.  My foster Mom had a DNA test done (see last image on my 11th Hour profile). I’m cautious with people I don’t know, but once I warm up to you, I will be your best friend!  Doesn't that sound great?  I’m also super smart! I know how to sit, come, and play fetch as you can see from three of my videos! I’m great in the car, crate trained, house trained, and I walk well on the leash. I take treats so sweetly and love chew toys and chasing after balls! I am very dog-friendly and haven’t met one yet I didn’t want to be instant friends with; just look at my videos! In fact, I would do best with another dog friend in my FURever home.  I would also benefit from an experienced dog owner willing to continue the training and patience my foster family has provided me to help me be my best self.  Won’t you please give me a chance?
