My story

Hi there, my name is Jones, and I`m a dog who has had a bit of a rough start. When people come to the shelter to visit, I tend to show terribly in my kennel, and it scares them off. But let me tell you, it`s not because I`m a scary dog - it`s just that I find the shelter a bit scary myself, and I need to put on a brave face to protect myself from strangers.Once I`m outside of my kennel, though, you`ll see the real me. I`m a smart boy who is well trained and very loyal to the people I love. You could say I`m like a diamond in the ruff - I just need someone to take a chance on me and see past my initial behavior.I may be an adult dog, but I still have a lot of love to give. I know the ropes and just need a dog-savvy family who is willing to not judge me based on first impressions. Once I get to know you and feel safe, I`ll be your best friend for life.So if you`re looking for a loyal and smart companion who just needs a chance to shine, please consider taking a chance on me, Jones. I promise, with a little patience and love, I`ll be the best dog you could ever ask for.
