My story

Hi there! My name is Artie and I`m a sweet older dog looking for a peaceful forever home to call my own. Do you like chilling out on the couch but also enjoy exploring the great outdoors? Well I might just be the guy for you because I’m the best mix of both worlds! I am an active pup despite my age. I love zooming around outside and going on walks. Exploring all the trails and parks that San Antonio has to offer with my new family would be a dream come true! Once I’ve gotten my energy out I like to just chill out with my favorite people and receive all the snuggles. One of the many benefits of adopting an older dog is that they are already potty trained, and I’m no different! Staff says I’m super well potty trained! I`m no spring chicken, but I still know a few tricks like sit and speak and will happily show them off for some yummy treats. However, what I really want is a loving home where I can just relax and enjoy the simple things in life. A soft bed to take naps on, walks, and some gentle pets from my favorite humans is all I need to be happy.
