Joy

My story

Joy is an energetic 2.5-year-old beagle-mix who’s a perfect mix of sweet and sassy! She has a sleek, low-maintenance coat and a love for snuggles, toys, and treats. This silly girl loves to play with the 3 dogs in her foster home and shares toys without issue. After a good romp around the house, she’s ready for a nap with her foster parents on the couch. She’s very friendly with dogs and people. She still engages in some puppy antics like chewing but does well with boundaries and being told “no.” Joy is very food motivated and gets defensive when other dogs approach her while she’s eating. Feeding her away from her foster brothers solved the issue immediately. She behaves herself enough to not be crated when her foster parents are away. She rarely barks and minds her manners on walks. Her playful energy would make her a great fit for an active family with a backyard to run around in. Joy is a sweet, energetic young girl who would benefit from an experienced owner willing to give her lots of love and attention.
