Lord (aka Loreto)

My story

Lord (aka Loreto) is an almost 6-month-old puppy and he was found in south of the Baja, Loreto town to be precise, and he was abandoned together with his little brother. An independent rescuer took them to the vet to start health check ups and vaccinations, etc, then reached out to DRWB for support. Lord took a plane ride from South of the Baja to Tijuana, and moved in with a wonderful foster mom that has other dogs. He completed his vaccinations, deworming, he was neutered, microchipped, and 4DX test was done; now he is more than ready to find his ideal family! Lord is a sweetheart; he loves to play with other dogs and is friendly. Loves to give kisses. He has come out of his shell and is gaining more confidence every day; initially he was shy but now he is more social and loves to spend time with his foster family. He loves to jump on the couch to sit right next to his foster to watch TV and be petted. When his foster wants to pick him up, he walks away, but then he goes belly up and let's his foster pick him up. He has never been aggressive. He is also sensitive, and makes a big deal if he is stepped on or not picked up gently. This is why we recommend he goes to a home with children older than 10 yrs old. His weight is approximately 6 lbs and despite being a puppy he is quite well behaved, he is not destructive; he also goes on a pee pad but can transition to go outdoors if his future fam prefers that. He sleeps in his doggy bed, in a playpen. He can also be left in a pleypen when unsupervised while running errands or can be left to roam the house without any issues. \ A family with another loving dog would be a great plus as Lord enjoys the company of other K9s. He is a great doggy and deserves a great family.
