My story

*I live in a foster home. Fill out an adoption inquiry form to find out more about me and how to meet me!*Hiya there, the name is Jaxon and I am just one awesome fella looking for my forever home, perhaps that could be with you? So here is the dealio though, I do have some quirks here and there that will need some work and understanding of. I am a fun loving guy who just wants to be near my people at all times (this just so happens to be one of the things I am working on). While I have gotten better about being away from my peeps, it is still something I struggle with, so I would love a home that has an understanding of this or even better, someone who is always home (who needs other friends anyways)! I really do love a good snuggle though, I am a pro at (somewhat) sharing my spot on the couch. Looking for a buddy to nap with, that may just be me! I would prefer to be the only child in the home (both human and other pets), I am the King of my roost and I know it! I am a (somewhat) smart cookie and would love to do some more training with my peeps. I already know sit, down AND paw- I am quite the pro. I`ve been on more field trips then I can count and have loved every single one. I am not the man for a long trail or hike, but would love a gentle stroll here and there. While I have some behavioral quirks, with time, love and patience I know I can just be the best friend around. My friends here absolutely love me to pieces (quirks and all) and I just know someone out there will feel the same way. I do have some medical quirks as well- I am just such a popular guy around here I somehow have become a regular with our vet staff due to this! While I still have lots of pep in my step, I do have quite a few medical needs that will need lots of patience and understanding. I am just the most fun-guy around (you`ll get that little pun when you get to meet me)! If I sound like the fella for you, feel free to come on in and meet me! You can also reach out to my friends first to see if we sound like a good match first, but either way- I hope to meet you! This pet is part of our Foster-to-Adopt program. You will meet this pet more than once before entering into a 3-week trial placement in your home. You will be matched with a behavior expert to help you and your pet through any bumps in the road during the trial placement. When all parties agree it is a match, we finalize the adoption!
