My story

Lucy has completed a board and train and is ready to find her forever home! She knows how to place, sit, and lay down on command and also has great leash manners. She is potty trained and crate trained and loves to go on walks. She also does great with the other dogs in her foster home! Lucy can be a little timid and may bark when she first meets you, but is such a loyal and loving dog once she gets to know you. She just wants to be loved! Per Wisdom Panel Lucy is a 3 1/2 year old American Staffordshire Terrier/Catahoula Leopard Dog/Lab mix. Due to her breeds, no apartments please! If you are thinking about adopting a dog, please consider adopting Lucy! Applications can be submitted at www.rescuerowinc.org *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 2-4 business days. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows (paid by cash or a check made out to Rescue Row):      Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee      Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs. ##950302##
