HOME TO HOME PROGRAM CONTACT: Amy at meowmix.fkc@gmail.com or 530-903-4342 Panda is a character and full of fun. He loves to watch tv with me and lay on the couch if I am sleeping or reading. He loves to chase a ping pong ball as it bounces across the floor and he makes sure that anything left on the table is cleared off by the morning (his most fun to knock off is pennies). Sometimes when there is too much noise he needs 'Blanket Time' which means we cover him in a blanket and he hides and loves it. He does not like it when people yell or fight. Also, sometimes when we talk about politics he starts biting his tail. He has gotten along with our little dogs just fine but he likes only certain cats so I would caution about bringing him into a home with cats. He is a great spider hunter. He loves to hang out with people and has taken to overeating lately since I have been injured and unable to spend time with him. He needs to go on a diet and we are working on that. Mostly, he needs a permanent home with people who love him and can keep him. I think he would love to go outside but he would need to lose weight first. I do think he still has some pain sometimes from his injury from 3 years ago. He is a love though and a lot of fun! Why I need to rehome him: Panda was my neighbor's kitty and was an inside kitty when he was a kitten. When she got married they found that her husband was allergic to cats so Panda became an outside kitty. I made friends with him and he was always on my porch trying to join my family but I have 2 cats and one did NOT like him. One day I came home and he was spinning in circles in the road and crying with pain. He clearly got very injured so I rushed him to the vet (with my neighbors blessing) and brought him home with me and kept him in a separate room. I was in the middle of moving and the vet said Panda couldn't be outside or he wouldn't make it as he recovered. My neighbor asked if I could adopt him (the day I was moving) and I decided to foster him and try to find him a home. It has been 3 years. I fell down stairs 5 months ago and became very injured and am unable to spend time with Panda or care for Panda. It's not fair to him and he needs a forever home. Please contact Amy at meowmix.fkc@gmail.com or 530-903-4342 to meet this sweet boy.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Panda, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
