Tony requires slow introductions to new people using positive reinforcement, but with time and patience, he becomes very affectionate with those he trusts.Tony has worked with a professional trainer and has made great progress-he would benefit from continued training to help him thrive. He loves treats and toys and enjoys showing off his impressive list of tricks, including sit, sit pretty, paw, paws up, say your prayers, and ta-da. He's eager to engage and loves working for food. He would do best in a home with a large, enclosed yard for playing, daily walks and someone who will continue working with him on his reactivity. Tony has been introduced to a head halter and walks best in public when wearing it, helping him stay focused and calm. Because of his specific needs, Tony requires an experienced owner and must be the only pet in the home.With the right match, Tony will be a loyal, entertaining, and loving companion who thrives on structure, enrichment, and connection.
