My story

My name is Shell-Lee! I'm a little like that teapot they sing about - Short and Stout! But when I was rescued, I was starving, homeless and pregnant, scavenging out of a dumpster at a Shell station just trying to stay alive. It was my lucky day when a vet tech came to the station and noticed me. She found out I had been living out of the dumpster for some time and felt sorry for me. Hey, I know a good thing when I see it. I walked right into her carrier, dreaming of a brand-new life of food and warmth and love and a safe place for my babies. And all my dreams came true. My babies were healthy and adopted into good homes. Now I am just an empty nester looking for other empty nesters who want some feline companionship. I'd do best in a quiet home with cat savvy people, but no dogs. With proper introduction, I'm sure to get along with other cats as I live with other cats in my foster home. My estimated date of birth is March of 2019 and I'm in very good health. At mealtime I do love to rub against my foster mom and turn my gorgeous green eyes on her to put her under my spell. I do some kneading when I am content. I'm perfect with the litter box. I enjoy both canned and dry food. And I love being brushed. Why don't you fill out the application and come visit me? 11427GC
