My story

Bear is a man's best friend & an old soul. He will follow any guy around wagging his tail with his big, goofy smile. He loves vehicles. I have never seen a dog so fascinated with them, his foster mom says. He loves riding in them and just hanging out while you work on a leak, or whatever it is you men do. He even put his paws up on the rubber to see what was going on up above. While Bear had the cone on after his neuter he put his head full force against my dad's car with no room for budging the door open. All he wanted was to go on a ride. He's a man looking for an adventure or a country boy that loves to roam around the country side and ride next to you in your heavy Chevy. Age: 4 years old per mid-April, 2023. Weight: 82lbs of love. Energy level: Low/medium. Potty trained: Yes. Leash: He likes to pull at first from excitement, it takes a few nudges to get him walking with a slack leash but he will. Kids: Yes. Toys: He loves bones, Kongs, seemed interested in chasing a ball. Likes to think he can catch birds. Cats: No. Livestock: Unsure- possibly likes to herd/chase. Dogs: No unfixed males. Females and fixed males- OK. Favorite pose: lifting his paw for you to hold. Breed: Unknown. Could have German shepherd, Labrador retriever, Chow and more - or none of those.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Bear, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
