My story

Located in ELMIRA, ON Microchipped Date of Birth: 23 March 2021 Snowball is a very handsome and loving cat! He is friendly, affectionate, and playful. He seems to have about medium-level energy, enjoying both being an active part of the action, as well as time spent as a couch potato. Snowball is good-natured with everyone and is a big lively boy. He may give a little nip if he thinks we’re going to stop petting him and he wants it to continue, or it may also be a bit of overstimulation. We just ignore Snowball then, since attention is what he wants and this minor behavior improves all the time. (He’s a smart boy!) Snowball is likely deaf. Adopters experienced with deaf cats or willing to learn would be good options, but it’s not really necessary as he does just fine anyway. If Snowy is sleeping, we usually just tap lightly on something nearby to give him a ‘heads up’ that we are nearby and are going to pet him. He has a beautiful and very soft coat as well. Snowball is lots of fun as well as loving, and enjoys chasing a ball or laser pointer. Older children in the home would be great (especially if they spend time and play with Snowball, but can also read his signals - like becoming over-stimulated). But, smaller children are likely not ideal for this sometimes boisterous fellow, who also likes his naps. Snowball LOVES dogs! He is fine with other cats, but in his mind he is ‘King of the Cat-castle' so he would not be a good match with another (dominant) male. The best match might be a (nice) dog-only household.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Snowball, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
