He’s also shown that he can be comfortable around cats, having behaved well during a stay at a neighbor’s house with feline companions.While Dutch is friendly and affectionate, he is also sensitive to loud noises and busy environments. For this reason, he’s searching for a calm, quiet home away from heavy traffic, bustling apartments, or the chaos of children. Dutch will thrive in a serene environment where he feels safe and secure.Dutch is mostly potty trained and communicates clearly when he needs to go outside. He’s never been crated, instead preferring to curl up on a dog bed or occasionally snuggle in a human bed. He isn’t overly high-energy—his perfect day includes gentle play, a stroll or two, and plenty of downtime with his people. Dutch enjoys toys, long-lasting chews, and the occasional game with other dogs, but he’s equally content just relaxing in a cozy spot nearby.This affectionate boy would do well in a home with a yard where he can stretch his legs or with someone who enjoys taking him on walks in quieter areas. He’d love to have a dog or cat companion, but he’d also be perfectly happy as an only pet, as long as he gets lots of love and companionship.Dutch’s gentle nature and steady temperament make him an easy dog to live with—he’s not demanding, not rambunctious, and not a handful.
