My story

My favorite place to sleep: Right now I sleep on the couch, but I also like my bed in my kennel and I also like to sleep on your bed, or on the floor next to you My favorite activity is: I love to play in the backyard with my other dog friend and I love to play and throw my toys and chase them around My favorite snack is: I like to eat anything!! I can talk you into giving me cheese and that's probably pretty high on my priority list I get along with / like: Big Dogs, Birds, Car Rides, Being Alone I do not get along with / like: Cats I'm scared of: I'm not really scared of it, but I don't like when you try to wipe the slobber off my chin with a towel My foster parent(s) describe me as: I'm a great, big, handsome, black, goofy Great Dane with the potential to turn into a really great dog. I don't have a mean bone in my body, I just need more experience with loving people who will help me become all I can be. I have not had any experience being around little dogs or little children. I might be too much for them because of my exuberance. I'm not too sure what to make of cats, I am very interested in them, and I growl at them, so it may not be a good idea to have cats in my home. But I'm not scared of fireworks!! My best day would be to: I want to spend my whole day with you, but I will be okay if you need to leave me in my kennel for a while as you run errands, as long as you come back home and give me lots of hugs and love. Other tidbits about me: I am a work in progress. I have not had much time or opportunity to be a puppy, so I really love my time playing in the backyard. I love my toys and will put on quite a show playing with them. I need someone who is strong who can take me on walks to learn how to behave on a leash. I need someone who realizes that I am barely past being a puppy and that I do not yet realize how big and strong I am. I will need training and love that I so richly deserve and need.
