My story

Hi, I’m George. I can be a little shy when I first meet new people or find myself in a new place, but if you give me some time and a lot of love, I’ll slowly come out of my shell. I really enjoy soft affection, gentle pets and brushing are my favorite ways to bond. You’ll often find me lounging in a sunny window, just relaxing and watching the world go by. That’s my happy place. I’m in my golden years now, and more than anything, I’m hoping for a calm, loving home where I can spend them feeling safe and cared for. I do have one very important request—I need to go home with my best friend, Samantha. We’re bonded and bring each other so much comfort. In my former foster home, I lived with a small dog and did just fine, so I could likely share a home with a calm pup again. If you’re looking for a gentle, loving companion (or two!), I’d love to meet you!
