Missy Smelliott IN FOSTER

My story

Meet Missy Smelliot. Missy came to us back in March 2023 as a wee pup in a litter of 8! She was adopted out as a cute puppy and returned 6 months later as a scared and untrained teenager. She has been with us ever since. Missy has spent the last month in a foster home. They sent us these pics and write up:`She is doing well and enjoying her stay. She has gotten along with all 4 of my dogs and 1 cat. She can play very rough at times and takes corrections from other dogs very well. She loves the nylon bones and stuffed toys, even though they normally dont last long. She is not completely house broken and when 9ut in the house will have an accident if not let out every 2-3 hours. However, she can stay in her kennel with no accidents up to 10 hours. We are working on obedience training with her and she is getting better but still has some issues with taking things off the counter and trying to get in the trash, she does listen when told no or ahh ahh and stops. She will accompany you anywhere you go and is mainly a velcro dog. She does not like to be outside without her person with her. She loves kittens but doesnt understand the size difference and tries to play with them like she would a dog but accepts corrections and eventually calms down. She loves:• laying on the couch playing with her toys• getting belly rubs and cuddles• going on walks and being outside• treats of any kind and anywhere• giving hugs• following you• playing with the other pups`Please consider giving Missy the forever home that she deserves by filling out the online application at www.zeusrescues.org.
