My story

“Blue” frenchie. MUST go to a very active home. We will be particular where she ends up due to her energy level. She LOVES to swim in her mini pool. Having another dog to play with is going to be crucial. Her favorite thing in the world is to play ball! So peope willing to throw the ball to her for an hour a day would be her best of friends! Coconut must be on nexguard flea preventative 1x/month for life. And she may have occasional allergy flare ups that require tending to with apoquel medications. We give her fish oil and she eats it in her bowl without problems. She’s super friendly and hasn’t met a soul she doesn’t adore. Coconut is very well socialized with all other dogs large and small. She’s also lived with a 4 year old and done fantastic with kids. Coconut LOVES playing in the blue small kiddy pool and enjoys going on walks with her harness. She is very muscular and physically small for a frenchie. The rescue has covered the cost of her spay, AKC microchip, harness, permanent reunification id tags, vaccinations Da2pp / rabies. she came to us with a horrible skin condition that her owners let go untreated and it got out of hand. Once they were overwhelmed, she came into our rescue program and we have had her treated with a animal specialty dermatologist. PLEASE NO CALLS OR TEXTS AS WE ARE ALL VOLUNTEERS, COMPLETE AN APPLICATION IF INTERESTED: saveabowwow.com/rescue/adoption-form If listed, dog is available. Once dog is pending adoption, this page will reflect that information. Note: All breeds and ages are our veterinarians best educated guess (unless otherwise stated that our group has breeder paperwork) Fine Print: -All of our French bulldogs must be walked with a harness (never on a neck collar). -The rescue requires adoptive family to obtain pet insurance for coverage of congenital and hereditary conditions. This is for any of the dogs in our rescue identified as a French Bulldog or a Frenchie Mix. Adoption will be finalized once the proof of pet insurance requirement is met. (There are some great policies ranging between $28-32 per month) -We have an open door policy and are always here to discuss anything that may arise with your adoptive pet. After an adoption is conducted please do not hesitate to reach out. -Please no texts or calls, apply if interested. -This breed generally speaking cannot swim and will sink like bowling balls so we do not adopt out to any homes with unfenced pools.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Coconut in ALISO VIEJO, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
