My story

Pay attention, all you puppy lovers! Buddy is an 8 month old, 43 lbs, male, mixed breed who is looking fo a new home. When he first got to the shelter Buddy was very stand-offish and scared but now is very friendly and always wagging his tail. Our staff have done wonders with him and our volunteer trainer, Mary, is teaching Buddy how to walk on leash. He seems to be ok with cats and other dogs. If you already have a dog in your home the shelter suggests that you bring him/her with you for a meet and greet. Buddy is ready to go home with someone and be their Best Dog Ever! Buddy is really that good of a dog. The adoption fee for dogs is $90. This fee includes spay/neuter, deworming, heartworm test, rabies & DHLPP shots, flea & tick treatment and license (for Newaygo County residents). Newaygo County Animal Shelter 78 N.
