My story

Meet Patches Patches is a cute, tan and white Chihuahua Mix, estimated to be about 2 years old, weighing 15 lbs. She is very cute, and good with most other dogs but sometimes is selective about her friends; she was confiscated along with several other dogs, ended up in a downstate animal control, and finally found her way to BAARK. Patches is well behaved, affectionate , an overall nice girl. However she has many traits typical of a Chihuahua….can be dog selective, can be bossy with other dogs, and will not back down if another dog challenges her. So, if there is another dog(s) in the household, he or she should be mellow and laid-back. While affectionate, Patches is not fond of cuddling. She’s an independent spirit and prefers to do her own thing. She will surely make a great companion for adults familiar with the breed and able to appreciate the Chihuahua personality. Patches is fully vetted, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and on year-round heartworm prevention, spayed and microchipped.
