My story

Meet Gambit: a lovable tabby cat who would enjoy a family of his own. Gambit was declawed by his former owners, unfortunately. When his owner had to go to a nursing facility the Goathouse was able to take him in, and in an even luckier twist of fate, our regular veterinarian examined Gambit and found that he’s in remission for diabetes! While it’s true that some cats may again become diabetic and require insulin at some point later in life, our hope is that by following the vet’s guidance, this will not be the case for our Gambit. Right now, that just means a wet food diet only. Gambit has love to give but can also be a little temperamental and may not be best fit for families with children or other pets. He deserves a family who will cherish him and commit to providing him with any medical care he may need so that he will have a long and healthy life. Approx DOB: 02/04/2013

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Gambit (declawed), please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
