Riley

My story

The vet said Riley is a 14 week old Dachshund / Jack Russell mix from South Carolina whos going to be 30-40 lbs full grown and is 15 lbs right now. Riley loves absolutely everyone she meets! She's loved all of the dogs shes met and wants to play with them! Sooo much crazy puppy energy. Shes also interested in my cats but submits to them when they get annoyed with her. She gets a little scared of new outdoor places and noises and wants to stand by me until she warms up, but we're working on outdoor walks, going to the middle school track, listening to cars that pass by and neighbors dogs that bark, etc. She's so people focused and just wants everyones attention and love, she truly is such a sweet girl. Some funny facts about her is she burps everytime she eats or drinks, she drops her bone in her water bowl because she doesnt understand the concept of putting it down first, she sneezes when she goes into cold air, she tries to hide her treats and dig them out of blankets later on, she sleeps on or next to my head every single night, she waits patiently for the barista to give her her pup cup and shes the most beloved customer at the Medford Starbucks! Shes great at going potty outside, and shes working on not barking in her crate (this seems to be very hard for jack russells lol). Riley would do best in a home with another dog that wants to play with her, or a family that is home a lot to give her a lot of attention and love. All Philly Bully puppies under 8 months must go to a home within 2 hours of Philadelphia. Philly Bully Team will prioritize homes with another young and playful dog, but we will also adopt to homes that sign their puppies up for training classes prior to adoption.
