My story

At just over 6 months old, this stunning, long haired, chocolate lab mix puppy is looking for a home that can show him lots of love and affection, while taking the time to train, and work with him to get him to be the best adult dog ever. Foley loves his food and treats, so training him should not be difficult. He is crate and potty trained, friendly, cuddly, and affectionate. He has learned to walk on a leash in less than 48 hours. He was a little bigger than his siblings and the self-appointed protector of them. Another doggo, female, in the house would be nice to show him the ropes, but not necessary as long as his human understands that he is just a baby, and needs to be taught polite manners and commands. Foley would make a great addition to any family. Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies. Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption.
