My story

Meet Queen (55lbs)! She`s got the bestest pittie smile you`ve ever seen! Queen is the full package: she’s a sunbathing, grass-rolling, toy-showing cuddle bug who just wants to be your bestie (once she gets to know you, of course!). After spending over a year at the shelter, Queen found a home, but due to her adopter’s serious health issues, she’s back with us and hoping for her happily ever after. One of our amazing volunteers takes her on weekly “daycations,” where she gets to soak up the world (and the sun). She LOVES to play and will proudly parade her favorite toy around while making the silliest little gremlin noises and gently bulldozing into your personal space like the lovable goof she is. Is she a little clumsy? Maybe. But we prefer to call it “charmingly focused.” And if she gets a little too excited? A tasty treat and a moment to reset are all she needs to settle down and be your perfect adventure buddy again. Cats are a little too fun for her to chase and she’s socially awkward around other dogs. If there are older kids in the home who can recognize and respect when Queen is feeling uncomfortable and doesn’t want to be touched, she’d like that. Once Queen bonds with you, you’re hers for life. She has a fan club here at the shelter, but what she really wants is a forever family of her own. (adoptions category: purple) (607)257-1822 x221 adoptions@spcaonline.com

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Queen 36289-d, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
