My story

Meet Marshall!  Marshall is a resilient boy who's finding his way in this big, scary world. He came to us in June of 2022 with a few other dogs after they were found wandering all alone. His two friends have since found loving homes, and Marshall is still patiently waiting! He has made lots of progress since being with us at the shelter, but in order to truly shine and be his loving and playful self, Marshall needs a quiet and patient home to settle into. Being in the shelter surrounded by all the noise and chaos, it's hard for him to be his true self! Marshall has been with lots of dogs here at the shelter, but now that he has mellowed out and gotten a bit older, he does best with respectful dogs who aren't jumping all over him and knocking him around! He is great for correcting young puppies and teaching them doggy manners, though! He doesn't take his corrections too far, and it is easy to catch his attention. Though he is still a bit on the shy side with strangers, he loves to come up to his trusted people and gently lay his head in their hands for pets. He truly has a lot of love in his little heart and just needs the right family to help him feel more confident in showing his affection. Could you be that perfect family? Call the Ranch to come meet him today! Read more about Marshall's story here: https://rrdog.org/3-stray-dogs-rescued-last-summer-learning-to-accept-humans-at-their-own-pace/ Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. While they are with us, each and every rescue dog receives the best of care in a loving and nurturing environment. Their routines include daily playgroups or partnering with dog buddies, quality time walking or being groomed, and two meals a day with dog biscuits for dessert. All of our dogs receive the best in veterinary care and are spay/neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and fully vaccinated.  The standard adoption donation fee for all dogs and puppies is $300 (unless a reduced fee applies )  APPLY NOW       July 12, 2025, 2:31 pm

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Marshall, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
