Pudding

My story

We’re not sure how Pudding ended up in a high kill shelter on death row but we’re so happy we got him out within hours of his scheduled euthanasia! It’s clear that Pudding was abused in the past but he is such a HAPPY boy now with plenty of smiles and tail wags! He is ready to find someone who will love and be loved. Someone who will appreciate his incredibly sweet nature and how great he is with other dogs. He is also good with cats, he never bothers or chases them but prefers if they don’t cuddle up to him. Pudding loves to be with his dog friends and people, and lay next to them on the couch. This 8 yr, 16 lb Mini Poodle, Chihuahua mix has a smattering of several other breeds (based on his DNA test). He is very well-behaved, quiet, rides well in the car, enjoys his walks and exploring new places, and would love to live in a house with a safe and secure outdoor space that he can enjoy. He would prefer to live with other dogs and is happy to be a follower so would do great as part of your friendly pack. You could not find a more wonderful little friend than Pudding. He is fine being in his exercise pen for short periods and overnight. (Rescue will cover cataract surgery in right eye once he’s settled in his new home. He has a minor heart murmur that does not cause any problems.) His prostate is still shrinking post-neuter, just means he needs more frequent access to potty area. Please note that we are currently set up to adopt within the Los Angeles county area.
