My story

Have you ever wondered why the tradition of smooching under a sprig of mistletoe at Christmas time started? Someone at MAS read a story to me about a god being struck down with an arrow made from a mistletoe plant, so his mother goddess mandated a promise of a kiss to ensure that mistletoe was never used for violence again. So mistletoe became a symbol of love and peace, through the grief of tragedy. I don't know if there is truth in the story, but I can promise you that I will do my best to live up to being a symbol of peace and love at home with you! I say that I will do my best, because I do have a bit of prey drive; so I cannot promise I will be so loving and peaceful to small critters like cats, squirrels, or small dogs. But I have done well with some other dogs my own size. If you have a dog, have no fear! MAS does dog introductions before I go home to make sure we are a merry match! Before meeting me, you should know that I am as sweet as a Christmas cookie and I love being around people...I have some pep in my step so I might be a little much for very small kids (I would hate to knock over a small one when I get excited with the zooms). They say that nobody is perfect, but I would have to say I have got to be pretty darn close! If you have some extra smooches for a sweetheart like me, submit your adoption application to the website below to meet me! DOB: 8/27/2018 For safety's sake, we are looking for homes with physical fenced in areas. Please fill out our online adoption survey at www.mackenzies.info/adopt/adoption-survey-application/

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Mistletoe, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
