My story

Meet Bart! Born March 2022, he is a male (best guess) Blackmouth Cur mix. This sweet boy had an accident and found himself needing a rear leg amputation. His family couldn’t take care of him and so he ended up with Mikeys Chance. Bart is crate trained and housebroken. He’s a great snuggle companion-although he doesn’t always realize his size 😂 His favorite thing in life is to be as close to his human as possible - if you adopt Bart, you will NEVER be alone again. Bart is good with the dogs in his foster home, he does need a slower introduction to new dogs-he’s lived a pretty isolated life before his accident. Three legs do not slow this guy down, he’s up for adventure! He would make a great solo dog or in a home with another canine companion. Cats are an unknown. We always recommend children over age 5 who can understand and be respectful of a dogs need for space at times. He will also require a securely fenced yard.
