My story

This pouty-lipped girl is Lindsey, a beautiful 4-year-old American Pit bull Terrier. Sadly, this loveable girl has spent nearly 3/4 of her life in the shelter system. She has been in foster care since October 2023 but needs to find her forever home!At 60 pounds, she's the perfect size to take along on any adventure. Are you an active family with another dog? Lindsey loves to run and romp with other dogs her own size or larger, and is also respectful of smaller breeds. She has excelled at doggy daycare in the "playful group" and recently completed Marin Humane Society's Family Dog 1 training. She has solid marker cues and shown great improvement with commands. She walks well on and off leash, is a quick learner, and house trained. She sleeps well, happy to chill in the evening and loves a fireplace. She's still somewhat shy with new people and situations but with common training techniques, she continually improves. Lindsey will let you into her heart with a hug.Regular exercise, training and companionship are important to her routine, so she would fit best with active and engaged owners. She's super sweet, eager to please and ready for fun and adventure!Lindsey's adoption fee has been sponsored. Please be sure to submit the adoption interest application directly at our HSNB website for a meet-and-greet! https://www.hsnb.org/dog-adoption-applicationIf you do not receive confirmation from us, please email adoptions@hsnb.org for assistance.Hope to see you soon! Primary Color: Tan Weight: 59 Age: 4yrs 1mths 0wks

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Lindsey, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
