My story

Available in Old Lyme, CT Myla is a darling 3 year old female Aussie. She is a sweet girl once she warms up to you. She needs one person to be hers with no other animals in the home. She wants all the love and cuddles for herself. Myla still needs help with crate training, Her choice is not to be in a crate at all however, she is unsure around people she does not know. Myla does know how to sit, and down and she does not want to wait, she wants to be near you all the time. I have been working with Myla and she is a good girl. When given the opportunity to warm up to her handler she needs to trust you and the only way to do this is with positive reinforcement. She is not showing any signs of aggression at this point with us at the kennel. Because Myla needs time to warm up we are posting her as a "foster to adopt" situation so the new owner has time to make sure she is a good fit. If you want to give this darling girl a chance, please fill out the adoption application: https://www.australianshepherdsfurever.org/adoption-application All adoption fees are used for future rescue efforts.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Myla, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
