My story

This tiny grey and white ball of fluff was struggling to survive on this own, living on the street. Luckily Jack met a young man who cared enough about Jack to bring him to a safe place. This compassionate human found a box to put Jack in and brought him to AALOC. Jack couldn’t be any cuter or have a better personality although he is a bit timid. The gray around Jack’s eyes looks a bit like the mask Batman wears and his pink button nose is framed in white. He’s precocious and playful and likes attention from the AALOC team. He’s grown a bit since he first arrived and has been neutered. Jack is now ready for a new home. The respiratory viruses, which most cats have been exposed to, cause Jack to get sick from time to time, sometimes requiring eye medication. Our vet also mentioned cats in a shelter environment are constantly exposed and constantly stressed - that causes respiratory infection flare ups. Once cats are adopted into homes usually the symptoms go away, although occasional flare-ups may still occur. Please submit an application to adopt Jack at www.AALOC.org. Once your application is reviewed and approved we will contact you to make an appointment to visit us at AALOC to meet Jack and get to know him a bit. Donation of $100 for cat adoption includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, and a microchip. Applications require a veterinary reference and home visit. We adopt to residents of Orange County, CA and surrounding areas. Please note: For families with children, we require children to be 10 years of age or older, although exceptions are made depending on the circumstances.
