Looking for a dutifully loyal dog? Lydia is your gal. This mature girl was set to be euthanized at another shelter due to a persistent leg injury. The leg had to be amputated but Lydia doesn't seem to realize anything is missing and you barely will either! She is a major fetch enthusiast and often outruns all other dogs to get the ball. Lydia tends to build strong and incredibly unwavering bonds to those she trusts and would do anything for her people. She was paired with a long-term deaf resident Rodeo. These two were attached at the hip since the day they met, almost as if they understood each other's struggles. Staff would often see Lydia nudging Rodeo in order to wake him up to play! Rodeo was thankfully adopted and is now in a very loving home but Lydia has been lonely ever since and would love a long term home to call her own as well! Lydia would do best in a dog-savvy, active household where she can continue to learn new things as well as play fetch daily. If this intelligent and active girl sounds like the perfect fit for your lifestyle, call the Ranch to meet her today! While they are with us, each and every rescue dog receives the best of care in a loving and nurturing environment. Their routines include daily playgroups or partnering with dog buddies, quality time walking or being groomed, and two meals a day with dog biscuits for dessert. All of our dogs receive the best in veterinary care and are spay/neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and fully vaccinated. The standard adoption donation fee for all dogs and puppies is $300 (unless a reduced fee applies ) APPLY NOW June 18, 2025, 7:01 pm
