My story

Meet Daisy, a gentle four-year-old Mastiff with a heart as big as her paws. Daisy is a sweet but shy girl who takes her time warming up to new people, but once you`ve earned her trust, she becomes a devoted and affectionate companion. She thrives on quiet affection and truly blossoms in calm, patient environments.Daisy absolutely loves being outside and enjoys going for walks, which is perfect because she is currently overweight and will need a home committed to helping her get the exercise she needs. With a little consistency and care, Daisy will be well on her way to a healthier, happier life. While Daisy gets along with other low-energy dogs, she would really prefer to be the only dog in the home so she can soak up all the attention for herself. We’re not sure how she is with cats, but with slow and proper introductions, she would likely adjust just fine.Because of her shy nature, Daisy would do best in a quiet home, ideally with older teenage children or no children at all. She’s looking for a peaceful place to feel safe and loved, and in return, she’ll offer unmatched loyalty, calm companionship, and lots of cuddles on the couch. If you’ve been searching for a gentle soul to walk by your side and curl up with you at the end of the day, Daisy may be your perfect match. If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm.My adoption fee is $100

If you have any questions or would like to adopt DAISY, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
