My story

EMERGENCY PLACEMENT DEADLINE 3PM 02/26/24Name: LeoAnimal ID: A785709Age: 3 yearsWeight: 67.0 lbs.About: What’s black and white and a very good boy?? Leo!! This handsome young boy is smart, energetic and athletic- he loves his daily walks with his volunteer pals. Leo needs to find placement with either a foster or an adopter through PACC. He is on an Emergency Placement Deadline for 3pm on 02/26/24 due to kennel census being high. During a stay in one foster home Leo was a quiet houseguest who enjoyed daily walks with his foster people. He did well when meeting kids as young as four years old and with the resident small dogs. Leo was housebroken and will sometimes even bring you his leash to let you know he needs to go outside. His foster described him as friendly, smart, affectionate and cuddly. In his most recent foster home, we learned that Leo is incredibly smart and is motivated with treats, toys, affection and praise. He, however, does not respond well to negative corrections, or use of force that is physical handling to redirect his attention. In the shelter Leo is a favorite of both volunteers and PACC staff. He is amazing in playgroups with other dogs, he shares his kennel with another PACC resident dog, he is a sweet, and friendly boy. If you are interested in meeting Leo please come to PACC before 3pm on 02/26/24.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt LEO, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
