We can not resist that pure Pittie smile he gives when he greets his people.......so of course he had to join the Three Little Pitties team! He loves attention from people. He'll climb into your lap if you let him and love all over you. Butters was found as a stray and found himself at a shelter! he is currently in boarding. Since he is in boarding, he is available to foster of foster to adopt in the PNW! Even though he is in boarding, we believe he is potty trained! He only goes potty in the outdoor area of his kennel. Good boy Butters! This love bug is about 3 years old and weighs 68 pounds. The staff thinks he is so sweet. He greets gently at the cage and loves to give kisses! He plays well with other dogs, and is currently working on his leash skills. He LOVES snuggles. We think he will make an amazing addition to a lucky family. The staff says that he pulls a little on his leash at first during his walks, but after a couple of corrections he walks great! He also does not bark or whine when being put back into his kennel. He waits patiently when he is getting leashed or if the leash is being taken off. We will be looking for a home that has breed experience and/or a fenced in backyard. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no choice but to euthanize animals for space. We prepare them for adoption by properly vetting and providing individualized care through our incredible behavior program that consists of socialization and leash training for all animals that enter our adoption program prior to matching them with loving families who will treasure them for the rest of their lives. They are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts once adopted, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be!
