My story

Hi, I’m Clover—and I’ve come a long way since being dumped on Christmas Eve 2022 by someone who didn’t deserve me. I’ve spent the time since then working hard on myself with professional training, and I’m proud to say I’ve turned into a total catch. I still have a little anxiety (can you blame me?), and yes, I’ve got a streak of stubborn independence—but I’m also eager to learn and genuinely love making my person happy. I know my commands. I love going for walks, running alongside a bike, or working out on a treadmill like the athlete I am. I enjoy meeting other dogs, but I do best with a proper, respectful introduction. I’m crate trained, but honestly, I’m happiest when I’m next to you. Dogs like me are meant to be your best friend—your ride or die—and I’m ready to fill that role with all my heart. I’m currently in the Bay Area, but I’m also available for foster or adoption in Southern California. If you’re looking for loyalty, brains, and a little sass wrapped into one determined companion, I just might be your girl. If you are interested in meeting Clover, please download the Adoption Questionnaire, fill it out and email it back to us at info@farescue.org or fax (310) 362-0321. You can also meet this and/or other available dogs at our weekend adoptions. [Clover’s DOB is March 2019 and she weighs 65 lbs.] (2208)

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Clover, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
