My story

Stereotypes are funny. You might think with a name like Swaddles I’d want to be all wrapped up in your arms all the time. Maybe someday, but not now. See, I came to APR with a pretty badly-injured leg. Back then, it hurt so much to walk that I had no choice but to be swaddled. But then the good folks at The Brady Hunter Medical Fund paid for my surgery and my leg is all healed. Now I’m making up for lost time! I’ve been here almost my whole life (going on 2 1/2 years now) and I still love to be scratched behind the ears and rub up against you, and I’m happy to sit next to you (or on you) while you watch TV or play video games. And who knows? Maybe after we get to know each other, I’ll let you swaddle me up in your arms!
