My story

Meet Maggie, not only is she a little cutie pie, but she’s a little stinker as well. She loves to play with the other dogs and she really loves to grab their toys and run off with them. Sometimes she would “borrow” some of her human Mom’s things and find a new place for them too LOL. She’s a doll though, very sweet and good natured. She is a little shy and will be a little cautious with strangers at first, but once she gets to know you, she will be your best friend and I’m sure will be a lot of fun. She came to us with her older siblings because the lady that owned them had some health problems and felt she could not look after her dogs like she needed to. She decided that they deserved better and asked us to find them great new homes, where they would be the center of attention and loved dearly. She has always lived with an older single lady, so she hasn’t been around kids much, but I think she will be fine around older kids that are good with dogs and respectful of them. Maggie is sure to bring a lot of enjoyment to some lucky family. Her Mother is a Shih Tzu mix and Dad was a Spaniel mix. She is 19 months old (dob 4/17/21) and she weighs 30 pounds. She has been spayed, 4DX heartworm tested, micro-chipped, fecal tested, is current on all vaccinations, worming, heartworm and flea prevention. Her adoption fee is $400. Maggie is being fostered in Tennessee. Once adopted she will be transported to her pickup location by a professional dog transport company. Our rescue ships to the Northeast area every week and her fee includes transportation. Due to state laws, we cannot accept applications from residents of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island or Maine since we can’t adopt directly to residents of those states.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt MAGGIE MAE, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
