My story

Walter came to us in Virginia all the way from Kabul, Afghanistan after being rescued by Kabul Small Animal Rescue. This beautiful lady had a very challenging exit from Afghanistan with a few hundred of her friends and needed time in her foster home to decompress and feel comfortable over the last couple of months. Walter has shown us that she is a sweetheart that enjoys pets and attention but what she really loves is the company of other kitties so she absolutely needs another friendly cat in her forever home. Walter has been known to climb on furniture to get as high as she possibly can and would love a cat tree or tower in her new home. She's an active girl that will need an adopter that is willing to play with her and make sure she has plenty of stimulation so she doesn't get herself into trouble. Because of the covid virus we have temporarily suspended our typical adoption activities. Each application is considered for approval on a case by case basis. To be considered as a potential adopter, complete an adoption application. Completing the application does not guarantee it will be approved. We are an all volunteer group and unfortunately are unable to answer every phone call, adoption inquiry, or application.
